6 Tips for Greater Curb Appeal for SpringThese tips will tell buyers that your house is well maintained which will result in a quicker sale and possibly a higher offer and who doesn't like that?! If you're not selling you should still heed these tips!1. Power wash the exteriorMake sure that you power wash the exterior of your home. This removes all of the debris, mildew, insect nests and cobwebs and make your house look at least 5 years younger. :)
2. Trim the bushes into round shapesRound bushes are more attractive than cropped or flat bushes. The round shape softens the vertical and horizontal lines of the house creating a pleasing aesthetic.
3. Paint or stain the front doorThe front door is the entrance of the home and should be attractive and clean.The front door should be a different color than the trim on the house or it should match the stain on the shutters. The goals are to make the front door visible from the curb and to create contrast with the siding or brick and the trim.
