Case goods can be made of wood, metal or glass. To check a case good for quality look for the following.English dovetail joints, also know as locking joints which are wedge shaped channels cut into the wood that interlock with one another from either side of the drawer.A drawer bottom made of wood instead of melamine or masonite makes a better quality drawer.Wood on wood drawer guides which are more stable than metal guides.Dovetail Joinery, Image CreditHere are some of my favorite case goods.
