Relaxing Living Room

Designing this living room was all about creating a space that feels as good as it looks—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly livable. From the first conversation with the client, it was clear they wanted more than just a pretty room; they were looking for a space that supported connection, relaxation, and everyday living. With thoughtful choices in color, layout, and sustainable materials, we transformed their living room into a true reflection of their values and lifestyle.

This is the living room in McKinney after fresh paint and custom cabinets were installed. The goals were to brighten the space and provide seating for at least eight people while infusing a splash of color. The clients also requested eco-friendly rugs and upholstery.

We increased the seating with two large sofas and two swivel chairs. The swivel chairs allow for more functionality as they can be turned to face the patio outside or the fireplace. The sofas are made with two seat cushions for a casual look and feel.

The rug is made of wool and is easy to clean and it is durable.

The wall art fills the space above the sofa and adds color, texture, and pizazz!

The brass chandelier is classic. When timeless chic is desired, simple lines and details are best.
